Multi Use Room in Bramhall

What an exciting project to be part of!

Our clients were having a total garden renovation that was going to completely transform their outside space.

Part of the renovation included adding a Modern Garden Room for entertaining, a room that could also double up as an office space.

Having shopped around our clients had recognised the value of working with an experienced, long-established company such as Olympian Garden Buildings. A garden room is an investment and one that you want to last.

The garden project was being overseen by a landscape architect who had already designated an area for the garden room. The only brief from them, to add to the design element, was for a large 1.5m wide window that lead your eye towards the house and swimming pool.

From the customers perspective, they were looking for a large room to hold lots of comfortable seating for entertaining and high specification technology for both work and play.

With that in mind we started designing.

Measuring 7m x 4m, we created a room that featured 3m wide bi-fold doors overlooking the newly landscaped garden and the all-important large window that allowed for views back to the house.

In terms of technology, we worked with our long-term electrical contractor to ensure the room was all-singing and all-dancing, with extra lights, wifi connectivity, air conditioning and the set up for a multimedia entertainment system.

Our usual high specification internal finish included professionally plastered walls, high performance Quick-Step Impressive Ultra laminate flooring and skirting.

Externally, the rich cedar cladding of the building contrasts beautifully with the dark of the anthracite doors and windows. Illuminated at night by spotlights in the canopy, the building is the perfect addition to the garden, day and night.
